Here's an oldie to celebrate doing science again, huzzah! Been a couple of months now and it's fun to be back in a lab coat, doing things with chemicals. In other news, I got back from the Breeders ATP on Monday and it was amazing; Bon Iver was incredible as expected, the Deals were lovely, Holy Fuck made me dance my arse off and we saw some poor girl get fully assaulted by a seagull for her pizza! Result. Winning highlight was probably Kimya Dawson's Spinning Hug Wheel of Death though...

Anyone who's been to a gig worth attending in Bristol for about the last 10 years can't fail to have noticed Big Jeff aka Jeffro aka The Bristol Yeti. His distinctive appearance and wildly enthusiastic dancing grace the front row of nearly every gig. He has twitched, jerked, and inappropriately moshed his way into my heart, and after spotting him at Kid Carpet's excellent set on Saturday I decided to put pen to paper...
